The Chilean Pension Fund Administrators' Association directs its work towards the following basic objectives:

- To make the social security system better-known among AFP members and the general public.

- To create closer links between the associate AFPs

- To set up, administer and maintain those services of common interest required by the associates.

- To represent the associates before public authorities and other institutions.

- To sponsor all such measures as will allow the associate institutions to contribute more effectively to increased national prosperity.

- To maintain relations with equivalent institutions in other countries.
